Review on 50Pcs Neodymium Magnets With Countersunk Hole And Stainless Screws - Strong Rare Earth Magnets Disc For Locker, Tool Storage, Crafts By MIKEDE by Philip Berry

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Cheap, brittle, broken.

These magnets are INSANELY strong BUT there is an issue with them. The outer coating, whatever it is, is thinner than a sheet is paper and does not sufficiently protect the magnets themselves. Rare earth magnets are known to be very brittle and because of this, they are usually coated with a thick enough metal coating to protect them. When I received these, I opened the package, pulled one or two magnets off the stack, and then when they snapped back together (from being just a couple inches apart) there was a visible spark and one of the magnets broke in half. Another was chipped and cracked. For this reason, I can only give these 2 stars. They are extremely strong but not stable enough for their strength.

Pros
  • it was used to hold my projector screen.perfect and strong
Cons
  • The magnets may not be suitable for use on painted surfaces
