I've been using the bristle brush system for a long time and have even used a pig hair wooden brush (never buy it because it looks nice) I didn't think this silicone brush would clean as well as it does but it does! No kidding, this is a great upgrade and the bristles don't clog. you know what i'm talking about This is a cleaning system that does an excellent job of cleaning the bowl. The handles are not flimsy at all. This was another issue that bothered me and I'm happy to report that they are durable and can withstand a tough clean. Finally, a small pair of tweezers in the handle is a bonus. I don't know when it's bad to use them and I hope I won't, but when you have kids you know that sometimes things don't feel right. This could be a good tool for that. Just don't try to save your phone. You may not have enough grip. Just put your hand in and you're good. Either way, these are great brushes. I'm glad I have them and they come in a set of two. These are light bases, so try not to knock them over. The airflow in the base should dry out any liquids so you don't get any weird smells.
