Review on 🌱 16x6.50-8 Carlisle Turf Saver II Lawn and Garden Tire by Jason Gopinath

I put these tires on a 25 year old John Deere LX172. The original tires featured the same rounded edge tread pattern which proved very difficult to find. These Carlisle tires are almost exactly the same design, and while they are the same advertised size, they are slightly narrower than the originals but have the same diameter. I messed up my order and had to order one tire at a time. Both were slightly wrinkled on the side but straightened easily and sat lightly on the rim. Fitting was another issue that was very difficult for this very experienced tire fitter, but it was to be expected. The smaller the wheel diameter, the more difficult the assembly process. Now a little mowing without having to pre-air the tires every time.
