I bought these for my 14 year old daughter who plays softball. She drops the mound associated with the lawn to best describe it. After a pitching session, the forefoot wasn't great, but the upper was fine, and the rubber around them started to ring. I applied gorilla glue and tapped the wood, no more problems. To be honest my daughter loved the shoes and said they were comfortable and easy to break in. These are reliable shoes in terms of quality. I may have only bought a pair on Monday or Friday, or it was just a bad batch. but overall not a bad shoe.
