Recently my Surface Pro 5 keyboard/cover stopped working and I decided to buy this keyboard as it is much cheaper than the Microsoft Surface Pro keyboard. It's a pleasant feeling. It paired easily with my Surface Pro. It's a little louder than the Microsoft Surface Pro keyboard, but not as bad. I was using my Surface Pro with a foldable Bluetooth keyboard until this arrived yesterday. Taking screenshots was so frustrating without the screenshot button on the keyboard. This keyboard has a PrtScn key which is great for taking screenshots. The trackpad seems to be working fine so far. So far I've noticed a problem with this keyboard. The Ctrl key for multiple selection does not work. Somehow the ctrl key locks the mouse on the trackpad and can't move the mouse. Then I tried to do the same with the stylus and the touch screen. Then the ctrl key for multiple selection worked fine. Just not with a trackpad mouse. Since I can get it to work with a pen or touchscreen, I'll leave the keyboard. I also wanted to make sure the ctrl key works to copy and paste. Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V worked well for copy and paste. The keyboard has a backlight (various colors to choose from) which my Microsoft Surface Pro keyboard didn't have. Not sure when I'll be using it, but it's nice to know that it's an additional feature on this keyboard. I also have a Surface Go and the Bluetooth keyboard I bought for the Go costs about the same as this one. But this keyboard is much nicer and better in terms of product feel and features. The Go keyboard I have sometimes doesn't work properly. Because this keyboard connects to any device with a Bluetooth connection, I can use it with my Surface Go, which is a plus for me too.
