problem model.

I used to have a better version. Version SK-21A. What I like about the newer version of the SC-25 is that it's a region 0 DVD player that plays all regions including region 1. The reason I prefer the SC-21A version is that it's an even more solid and compact player even though it only plays region 1 DVDs The newer version of the SC-25 has FOUR issues that I've had over the last 2 months could identify. First, the red "ON" button on the player cannot be completely disabled. It goes to sleep like a computer, but the red light is on all the time. As a result, the player is always hot. Second, the controller is very small compared to the SC-21A version - compared to any other controller I've had. Third, the player sometimes changes the language while watching a movie. I had this problem while watching movies like Chuck Norris' The Lord of the Rings and Delta Force. I don't know what caused it. I've never had any problems with other DVD players I've owned. As a result, I have to manually change my preferred language settings again, either through the main menu or through the language selection button on the controller. IMPORTANT NOTE: For some films, the language can only be changed using the language selection button on the controller. For example "Under Siege 1 and 2" by Steven Seagal. I couldn't change the audio to Spanish or French by going to the main menu. I had to use the controller voice button directly. And fourthly, I noticed the biggest problem with this DVD player. The fact is that he himself sometimes switches from widescreen to full screen (or vice versa) when watching a movie. I had this problem mainly with films from the Clint Eastwood collection like The Good, the Bad, the Ugly and Two Mules for Sister Sarah. But it's happened to other movies too, like The Lord of the Rings. So I don't recommend this player to anyone. The SC-25 model is problematic.
