Useful for around the house, not really for trips

I bought this kit for my 2.5 year old son who absolutely hates patches. When we first put it on he cried non-stop for an hour until we finally gave up and took it off. Luckily the bleeding had stopped by then, but I realized we really need to work on this. Lately I've started giving him stickers and putting them on his arms and legs. He loves it and even giggles when I put it on him, so we'll try to move on to band-aids that aren't easy to remove. This set is perfect for that as it includes a variety of patches in fun colors and patterns. Ironically my son cut his foot a few hours after this kit arrived and we were able to try it out almost immediately. He didn't even notice the bandage when I put it around his leg and continued playing. However, the real test will be when we have to put it on our hand. While I'm not sure how convenient it is to carry this kit with you, as the name suggests, because it's huge and basically just bandages, I find it very useful. Keep it in the kitchen to be ready in case my son gets injured in the garden or I accidentally cut my finger while cooking. I really don't think it can be used for much more. Other included items, like travel-size aspirin and non-stick tape bandages, appear to be a modest attempt to make something more of it than it really is, namely a massive amount of patches. I would have preferred a larger tube of Neosporin rather than individual packets, multiple types and sizes of patches, or some sort of wound cleansing spray. All in all, it meets my needs and I'm happy with it.
