I'm so angry I don't even know what to say without freaking out like a complete psychopath. My dragon was at the recommended height from the light bulb and suffered third degree burns all over his upper body from the light bulb. I spent over $500 and spent hours and hours trying to save her from dying. I gave her fluids and antibiotics every few hours, pain killers, oral water, cared for carnivores when she refused to eat, iodized and sulfonated her back several times a day, injected her Baytril to prevent secondary pneumonia, PEOPLE read veterinary articles and ran away from mercury lamps! Use proven time, take care of animals and wallets, don't buy mercury fumes - and if you say you have no problems, you just haven't had any luck yet - give her time. These bulbs are too strong for our reptiles. Uses a 40's breeder with a slightly filtered mesh coverage and it's in the optimum range and still fried. These photos were taken after more than a month of daily treatments and she will forever be scarred and in need of skin care.
