I stumbled across this case while looking for a case for my iPad. And since it is very similar to the same size handbag I carried, I bought it. I was a little disappointed to find that the openings for the main compartments are a bit limited, making it impossible to slip my iPad into the pocket. I'm sure the Mini iPad will work just fine. The zippers are thick and metal. The hardware is all gold. That's not my preference. I'm sure people will love it. I'm worried about how it will wear out over time and the other color will fade? I think the question is will metal zippers last longer than plastic zippers? But if I were lugging around a mini iPad, I'd make sure it's protected by a case. The color is a little more muted than in the picture. I like bright colors for my bag as I'm always on the hunt for that. This one is red and bright enough for my taste. There are many storage options. I like the side pockets, one on each side. I put my checkbooks in one and my headphones and keys in the other. There are two large central pockets. All of them are attached with zippers. The skin seems good. Time will tell how it will hold up. It took me eight years of daily use to wear out my last red handbag of the same size. I really hate replacing it with one that isn't exactly the same. It's weird how a handbag becomes a part of you, isn't it? Can I recommend it? Yes. Seems well done. It's attractive and very useful.
