.the rest of my TrueSteam is falling apart. When removing the TrueSteam from the wall to install the solenoid (easy solenoid installation), the plastic nozzle that pushes steam into the duct (remote mount kit) broke. This season I secured it with CPVC hardware. They are most likely not designed for steam, but the plastic used for TrueSteam is not suitable either! I just replaced the tank and gasket a few months ago and the new gasket is already leaking and the tank is "yellowed". I will replace the unit before next winter, possibly with a 220v GiantSteam. They are similar to Aprilaire units but do not require return air and outside air sensors.
