Review on 🎞️ Paterson Universal Film Developing Tank with 2 Reels - Model #115 by Agustin Bush

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good tank. Terrible coils.

This container does the job. Lightfast, easy to use and at the best price. The only thing stopping it from being 5 stars is the drums. Applying foil takes more than just a little practice. It's a little lighter than the old metal spools, but not by much. If your film is thinner and more brittle this is next to impossible and you will need to trim the corners in the dark to prevent the film from getting stuck in the spool and wrinkling. much better job. I didn't switch to them and can't believe I fought with them for so long. That's the difference between day and night. So take the tank, it works fine and does its job, but drop the drums. They want reels with a wide loading ramp where they have little protrusions that you can barely feel in the dark. I took the same ones from Adorama as an example, and they fit this tank perfectly. This tank is better than the one offered by Adorama, but the drums are nowhere near. Save yourself the frustration by buying other drums.
