The Reflector is a fantastic tool to have on hand. It solves some of the awkward lighting issues that would otherwise be difficult. I use the reflector outside most of the time and it's so handy. You can spend big bucks on reflector screens, but this Neewer 32-inch Reflector Screen is such a good deal that it's hard to resist. This screen comes with a nylon zippered carry case. The zipper cannot be touched with hands and works great. If you are in a hurry and start to close the zipper with a lot of force, it may catch on you or the nylon of the cover may catch in the teeth of the zipper when closing. Just slow down and be careful. OK. The screen basically unfolds with a spring action and once it unfolds you see a 32-inch diameter disc that is black on one side and silver on the other. The zipper runs halfway around the outer circumference of the black/silver material and when opened reveals a gold area on one side and a white area on the other side. The translucent material forms the core of the reflector, and around the translucent core you attach the outer shell after deciding on a surface color. The only problem is that the material is very wrinkled. Wrinkles decrease significantly once the reflector is fully expanded, but never completely disappear. This isn't a major problem as the crumpled appearance of the reflector surface doesn't significantly affect the light reflected from the surface to your subject. This is such a big deal that even the most budget conscious photographers can now easily afford this great tool. And once you start using it, you will regret not having it a year ago.
