Works as described, great value for a variable speed EVSE!

The price is right, with the Prime discount plus "voucher" it was irresistible. Definitely worth it. The first one I received didn't work properly but Revain offered a replacement which arrived quickly. While "faster" might be good, there are a few 30-40a adjustable EVSEs that tend to be quite expensive. This is a great value and can be adjusted to lower rates if I want to charge slower or only have 15A. This gives you a choice of 10, 13, 16 or 20 amps, with the default being 16 amps at 120 or 240 volts (auto voltage sensing). It uses the less common (in the US at least) NEMA 6-20 plug, but includes an adapter for NEMA 5-15 (North American 120 volt household plug) and adapters to connect to 240V RVs, dryers, and outlets. available. One very minor complaint: the display is a bit difficult to read in daylight, but if you put your palm around it you should be able to see it just fine. It might also be a good idea to turn on a KWH meter, but your car is probably already telling you this and you can do a few simple calculations to confirm it (V x A x H = KWH). Very minor issues given the extremely attractive price and versatility. It's worth noting that YOU are responsible for selecting an appropriate and safe current range for the available power supply, so it is best suited for a user who is knowledgeable about such things or can learn how to measure a circuit's capacitance before use definitely .
