Works great. Has moved to a temporary home and will not reinstall a Tier II charger for a short time. This charger works very well every day on a regular garage outlet. Remember it turned off the switches unless I set the car to only accept level I charging. :-) The display shows the current draw (amps) and the internal operating temperature of the device. Highly recommended.

The cable is thinner than others I've had, but it's stiff despite the smaller diameter. Diagnostic screen is very handy to see temperature, amperage, connection time, etc. I mounted it to the wall in the garage so can't speak for waterproofing, but despite the IP65 rating on the back, there is a sticker on the cable just behind the charger saying don't get it wet may. Given the claimed IP65 rating, this seems a bit odd and I'm sure not all EV owners charge indoors 100% of the time. The price…

As the Chevy Bolt has a current limit there is no problem with the default setting of 16 amps at 120v. I was a little worried after reading the reviews what should be careful as it defaults to 16 amps in the event of a power outage, but when used with a Chevy Bolt it has a setting to limit the input current to 8 or 12 amps (depending on the wiring in your home), so when it is plugged in it only draws 8 or 12 amps. So this is great for my needs, namely portable 120v and 240v at higher amps…

At first this product was very comfortable. A plug that can charge from both a 120V socket and a 240V socket. I bought this one because the charging cable my Honda Clearness came with was too short and this one gave me both normal and fast charging in one charging cable.
