I had to replace my old D-Link router due to a lightning strike. I found this router very quickly for MY needs (Tivo, Cellphone, Printer). If I were a gamer I would still buy a D-Link router but I would go for one of the more powerful ones. It gets very hot, which I think is due to the two processors it packs. It doesn't appear to have a fan to deal with it so I bought a small AC Infinity USB fan which I mounted on top of it to cool it down and protect/extend the components inside. It has an LED panel. The front bezel turns orange when booting up and white when connected to the internet. I had to call support multiple times because my printer wouldn't communicate with my computer and the printer manufacturer (HP) said it was my router (it turned out it wasn't, forcing me to swap out the device unnecessarily). When I first called, I found a girl in California who worked with me to solve my problem. I was pleased with the customer service and the fact that they were NOT sent to India or Pakistan. Before I got this D-Link, I bought a NetGear router from Best Buy. Their customer service was outsourced to India or Pakistan and dealing with them was a nightmare because apart from the language barrier they didn't know what they were doing. This prompted me to return it to Best Buy and order this D-Link from Revain. After this experience, I will be a D-Link customer for life. I recommend this device, but I also recommend that you order the AC Infinity USB Cooling Fan to cool the device more efficiently.
