This is a very simple diffuser. It is a gorgeous grey marbled glass that has that blown-glass appearance. You can set it to run continuously or turn off in one or two hours and it shuts off automatically when it runs out of water. The only downside I have is that the reservoir is quite small - holding about 1 cup of water. This only lasted about 4 hours for me. It does have nice steam/mist output though. And the lights. wow. I may just use this as a bedside lamp - it is so gorgeous! A nice option is that you can run the diffuser with the light on or off and you can have the lights on and the diffuser off. And for the lights, you can choose one solid color or you can let it cycle through all the colors on its own. All in all, a very elegant piece. Not a very effective diffuser, given the very small water reservoir, but a very pretty table or bedside lamp, at the least!
