Works great with magnetic flashlights
I bought these to use with automatic battery operated LED flashlights. The mounts came with tape and a magnet so they could be attached to a steel surface. The problem is that to attach to a non-steel surface you have to use a double sided sticky pad. Then the adhesive would have to be torn off to change the battery. I used them to attach them to a wooden surface and used a magnet to attach them to the disc. Works perfectly! The adhesive is strong enough to hold the light and it's now easy to swap out the batteries.
