This mouse is actually genuine despite the difference in the "Lenovo" logo on the mouse. I ordered a new one as I've had this mouse for 5 years. The first mouse was flashy and a bit worn. After that time the clicks don't register as well and the laser lags, but up to this point the mouse worked fine. With this new Lenovo label, "Lenovo" in italics has changed to "Lenovo" in antiqua. Don't worry about the authenticity! It's still the same mouse. I have confirmed it (1) by comparing their specs, which is just as good as the previous one (if not better if I remember correctly), and (2) a label on the back showing the manufacturer's markings, showing the brand information and the recycling label are almost identical to the old mouse, just with slightly updated brand labels.. I believe this is the real deal.
