Very modern, good for ceiling fans

The first thing that struck me were the thin blades. It's okay, I just wasn't prepared for them being so skinny. But they do their job. I once installed a ceiling fan and vowed never to do it again. This fan looked more complicated. It was complete. I paid an electrician from Home Advisor. They only charged $75 and when he and his journeyman son arrived they told me I had about an hour to make a replacement. It took 2.5 hours! Phew, I'm glad they were flat rate instead of hourly. There was a kind of switch box that had to go in or something like that. The lights were a thread that somehow went into the PLASTIC sphere. It's not frosted glass at all. However, it still looks fantastic. It has completely upgraded my position. But they've done a poor job of stabilizing. I don't even know if it was the flush mount or the pole that was used because they took everything with them when they left. But it has a fluorescent mode, or incandescent. Everyone commented on how well it lights up their space. I have to agree I used to have four fluorescent tubes pointed at the same office chair all day. To do this I have to use two table side lamps that I bought when an old fan lamp broke. But it's very good lighting, you might need more if you work there all day like I do. So my boys did a poor job of stabilizing it and I put a piece of white cardboard on one side that you can't see when you look through the door. It fits the ceiling and has a small gap between the ceiling and the body. It seems to have stopped the knocking. Otherwise I don't think I could be under the fan while it's on, it would drive me crazy. My installers also followed my instructions. I didn't see the reverse mode buttons clearly anywhere, nor is there a button on the remote. But the clerk told me to go upstairs and look at the lower case and it's there. I found this by turning off the fan and groping around, then stood on a stool and am very glad I said it there. This makes him a very stylish all-season fan. Now I'm much happier about it. Many of my friends on FB have asked who made it and where to get it. Just make sure you run it at high level for a few minutes before your installers go to make sure you can safely run it at high level and that it's stable. Love it.
