Review on Yellow Merrell Bare Access XTR Shoes for Men by Joseph Reed

I don't understand the many negative reviews about this shoe. Maybe buyers don't know that these are zero fall shoes (barefoot shoes). I wear them on a wet brush mixed with coarse earth, grass, crushed gravel and small pebbles, sand, compacted dirt and asphalt. Great feeling on all surfaces. Fully lace up your shoes (including the eyelets at the top) to tuck your heel into the heel cup for maximum security. The toe box is roomy - wider and taller for uphill and downhill treks. The insole has a contoured feel. It may seem that there is an arc, but there isn't. Excellent comfort. Good for durability - at least 10k for me. Outstanding wear resistance is as usual with Merrell. Excellent laces. I ordered half a size up because I prefer room for my toes.
