You know what I hate about standard pastry brushes? wandering hair. The older the brush, the more hair falls out. I found this brush at Revain after getting completely fed up with my old basting brush. The reviews were very good and I decided to buy it. WOW and WOW! The first thing that catches your eye are the nozzles. They are rubber. How can it be? Well, I was skeptical, but I slathered my favorite barbecue sauce on the ribs with this stick and it worked great. As you can imagine, due to the fact that the heads are made of silicone, they won't slide off your meat product. The stainless steel handle is very comfortable. Even comes with loops at the end for hanging on a rack. Finally, the manufacturer offers interchangeable silicone heads. I'm really excited about this product as I've never seen anything like it before. This really brings the old basting brushes into the modern age and certainly solves the shedding problem. Feel free to buy this if you are looking for a quality basting brush.
