We use them for spreading but mainly for spreading ghee on toast which works great! Easy cleaning, remove the brushes from the handle and place them on the top rack of the dishwasher and you're done!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these brushes. They're comfortable to use and love how the silicone brush tips pop out for easy cleaning. They fit snugly and will not pull/fall out when in use. Best of all, you throw your brush tips in the dishwasher! I love that they come with extra brushes - well done and I highly recommend them. Time for hugs, push-ups and shots!

If I could give this item ZERO (0) stars, I would. The item should be dishwasher safe. HA WHAT A JOKE.
