Doesn't seem to hold up well

I'm in the process of transitioning to a more conscious lifestyle, so getting rid of paper towels was on my list. I was so excited to find them but I found there are pros and cons! I love that they come with a strong cardboard tube to help them roll up. They are not all cut the same size, which bothered me a lot. first, but I'm already done. I find them very easy, for example if you have a serger and know how to operate it I would suggest you do it yourself. I really like it when someone walks in and is used to drying their hands with a paper towel instead of using a reusable cloth. We use the whole roll for a little over a week and after 2 months they have already started to unroll. When I tumble dry them, they are very wrinkled and deformed, making them difficult to curl. However, when I lay them out to dry, they look great, are better at wicking and curling, but leave a lint-like finish even when I wash them with nothing else.

Pros
  • Handmade in Eugene, Oregon
Cons
  • Out of fashion
