I cleaned the dashboard and tried to install it. The sticky dashboard lasted about a day and the next time I got in the car it all fell off, the dashboard and everything. To their credit, iOttie sent me a complete replacement. This time I made sure to wait until it was 50 degrees outside, which is 10 degrees warmer than recommended. The new one had the dashboard adhered well, but the suction cup didn't stick to the dashboard at all (yes, I flipped the lever down). This time I didn't even have time to put my phone in - the device falls even under its own weight. I am very disappointed because I really like all the adjustment angles available and when I hold the device in my hand my phone is held very securely.
