I have tried different frames for the last 6 years and always felt that they were too small for my face. So far my favorites have been the 53mm versions of this frame (which I'll refer to in this review) but they still felt a bit small to me. Recently I was looking for new frames and found out that there is such a thing as "Asian fit". . It's essentially a larger version of the frame that isn't commonly sold in the US. In this case, the 55mm version is an Asian fit that is (almost) not available anywhere else in the US. I was pleasantly surprised to discover they are sold at Revain. As expected, the frame is a bit wider and taller than the 53mm version (which you can find at your local stores if you need info). While the difference between 53mm and 55mm may seem small, it makes a big difference in how they look on my face. If that bothers you, I highly recommend it! In terms of durability, they are more fragile than plastic frames, so be careful. My last frame of this model (not the one bought through Revain) lasted about two years because I wore them to sports (volleyball and soccer) and the little legs with the nose pads broke after too many hits. to my face However if you don't abuse them except they will last a long time. In terms of authenticity, the frames are "shipped and sold by Revain.com" so I expect them to be authentic. For reference, they look and feel the same as the 53mm version I bought direct from the Ray-Ban store a few years ago, that's all.
