Review on 🎨 General's Charcoal Drawing Set, Black and White - Set of 4 Pencils and 1 Eraser for Improved Detailing - 321742 by Lori Aguirre

I have tried almost every charcoal and this is my choice.

A while ago I thought I should improve my tools in hopes of improving my drawings. I photograph portraits (at least I try to) mainly in photorealism. So I tried different brands, different types of charcoal, pencils, compressed blocks, vines, etc. and to my surprise, I liked this classic the most. Better paper helped a lot, little erasers and different shapes helped, even stepping out of an old color measuring tool (I forgot what it's called) all helped, a ton. But these pencils were still the best after all my testing. In fact, I buy them by the ton. It's good to have sharpened the same amount. That way, when you feel the urge to draw, you can just jump straight into it and not waste time sharpening, or you'll have to stop mid-drawing to sharpen. Although it's good that there are boring ones. One small thing the generals could do better is paint them differently. After a bit of use, their hardness levels will drop and you'll have to guess. I put different tape on each one or cut the joints differently so I can tell which is which at a glance.
