Very happy with this amp! There was a noticeable improvement in detail, soundstage and tonality compared to my solid state amp. I'm pleasantly surprised at how satisfying the overall performance is when playing a wide range of music. Some cuts that were previously crisp and sharp are crystal smooth with the MT-34, and clarity is also improved. I mean the louder part of "Hello" Adele. The unit was packed in a double carton with lamps labeled with their individual sockets and packed well protected in cartons in a lamp cage. Well done. Everything was clean, fingerprint-free and showed high build quality. All switches are pleasant to the touch, but not luxurious. You won't confuse it with Luxman, but it's great on its own. Revain's photos don't quite match reality. I have no flaws to mention. At the moment there's a weak 120Hz ground loop that needs fixing, although it's not detected during playback. I don't know the reason, so I'll refrain from blaming MT-34. Edit: Update! The hum I heard was coming from a nearby computer. Moved the PC, the noise is gone. It also generates more heat than I expected. I assume that all tube amps will fit. I wholeheartedly recommend the MT-34 if you have moderately efficient speakers. I use them with very efficient Crites Cornscala similar to Klipsch Cornwalls and the amp is more than powerful enough to hear live performances on most recordings including orchestra, rock, jazz, country. It also pairs well with horn mids and highs like the Klipsch while delivering full, tight bass. Excellent goods.
