I bought three lamps with 4 bulbs. I removed the work pieces from the pedestals and then installed the work pieces on an 18 foot piece of metal pipe that I installed near the 12 foot ceiling of my art studio/mini gallery. DIY track lighting if you will. I replaced the yellowish incandescent bulbs with slightly higher wattage fluorescent bulbs. This arrangement provides very good lighting for my space. They are well made for the price, look good and are easy to set up. Time will tell if the metal will rust but for now I'm glad I bought them.
