I was delighted to receive these as my first set of calligraphy pens. When I received them I opened each marker to see what color it really was and they were all beautiful colors. However, some pens have a much "softer" tip than others, resulting in calligraphy lines not coming out cleanly or evenly. If you are an expert you might have the muscle control to match these colors to others or make them look good, but for a beginner this is impossible. Also if I wanted to write one word in green and another in red they would look very different because green is very soft and soft while red is really hard and hardly suitable for a brush pen anymore. I wouldn't recommend if you want all buttons to work the same way.
