EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. NOT THAT BIG ROUTING BITS

However, the rail flexed and pierced my router table the moment I turned on the router; I've never had the opportunity to put firewood in it. However, when I called Precision Bits I immediately found someone who was knowledgeable about the product and woodworking in general. After discussing the incident, I sent him a photo of the broken nozzle and he shipped me a replacement the same day. The rep I spoke to seemed aware of the issue with this product and sent me some with a shorter stem. The original shank stayed out about 3/8" so when the collet is down the new bit could be sitting on the collet. It looks like Yonico has solved the problem but this makes me a little nervous when using bits After all, they're bits of sharpened carbon steel that spin at 20,000 rpm with nothing but 2 feet of air between them and my face.I suggest leaving as much shank in the collet as possible and making sure the router bit firmly attached to the table before use. Also turning the power on and off at startup to allow for a "soft start" if your router doesn't already have this feature can help mitigate vibration issues or premature crashes.
