This device temporarily did not work as intended. It still works, but the USB 3.0 features don't seem to work. When I connect it with a USB 3.0 cable, I get either a very intermittent connection, a USB 2.0 speed connection, or an unknown device (address set error). I also tried other third party cables to rule out a cable issue and a different USB 3.0 port on my laptop. It currently works fine with a USB 2.0 cable. were great compared to 2.0. Retrieving sequential reads from disks at or near maximum speed. I haven't tried it with an SSD (yet). Slight disappointment here, although it still works, just 4-5 times slower than before.
