I like this idea. Good quality. The problem is that not all drives are recognized. I have a 400GB Toshiba laptop SATA hard drive that was not recognized. At first I thought the hard drive was bad, but I connected it to the USB enclosure and it works with no problems. So far 2 out of 3 hard drives have worked. It's not very fast either - the USB enclosure I plugged into the same drive is much faster. I would say it's between the 3rd and 4th start.

The first device sent didn't work at all (except for the blue LED) but I contacted Weme and after a few emails I was sent a second device that worked after the box. Any business can have issues with their products/services, but how those issues are resolved is important. I am very satisfied with both the product and the support and would order from Weme again at any time.

I ordered this because I wanted to save data and space on 4 hard drives on 3 old computers, 3 of which had different connectors (IDE etc). I bought it because of the low price and it does what it's supposed to do. The backup software seems to do the trick, although I doubt I'll use it. This device temporarily did not work as intended. It still works, but the USB 3.0 features don't seem to work. When I connect it with a USB 3.0 cable, I get either a very intermittent connection, a USB 2.0 speed connection, or an unknown device (address set error).
