Do not use directly on wooden frames. I'm a photographer and have used it on MDF and pine frames only to have it fall off with repeated use. I thought when it happened at the open air fair it might be the heat. When reusing it at an indoor display in a controlled heating/cooling environment, I found it was coming loose when taking pictures of the display. Although very easy to use I am very disappointed with this product.
