This pack of eight extra large wool dry balls is very well made and 100% New Zealand wool and I have heard that New Zealand has the best wool. The wool is very dense, which makes it very durable. I like that they are free from chemicals and synthetic fibers or fillers. I used a tennis ball but I wanted something natural and not rubbery. They're a lot quieter than tennis balls, but they still make a noise when they hit the walls of the dryer. They advise you to use all eight balls of yarn in each wash load, but I know that you can get the same result with less washing if you use half the balls. Since I've always used tennis balls and they do the same thing as these wool balls, I know fewer balls work with less stress. I myself rely on reviews when ordering products and will only write an honest review if I know what I think about the product. My underwear came out soft and fluffy and I love wearing them over tennis balls. This is a great product and I would definitely recommend these Wool Dryer Balls to anyone who does laundry and anyone who has someone to wash your clothes to buy as a thank you because they will love them.
