. This thing is amazing! It has helped me turn the most disgusting tobacco stained walls into something beautiful and odorless. It also killed mold and mildew in the bathrooms (and I'm pretty sure they won't come back!) Yes, Kilz smells awful. The full strength of the fragrance does not unfold in the glass, but only on the walls. I found painting over this quickly eliminated this. I used it under Kilz Tribute which has become my #1 favorite interior paint. These two products together seem to be able to cover almost any stain and even smooth out minor imperfections in the drywall. Note: My photos contain a "before" section that shows how rough the walls were before using Kilz. The last tenants had a large painting that protected the premises from the effects of the nicotine.
