Small and compact but a bit messy

I like that it's small enough to fit in the small lockable workbench I have. However, this is a bit confusing. It has one switch and one button. The button appears to have four settings (light amber/light amber/light blue/light blue), but I have no idea what those are. They all seem to turn off the heating at times based on the thermostat. A small heater like this shouldn't need an owner's manual. This is not a fatal error (I plan to read the instructions and find out), but I've never had a heater with this behavior.
