Review on 🌲 Dr Meter Multifunctional Moisture Meter for Firewood and Furniture by Tony Reid

I was really hoping this would work but it didn't. I have tried old wood that has been stacked and stored under one roof for 2 years, freshly split wood (6 months ago) and then green wood that has been split but not split 2 weeks ago. Path when reading the entire tree. Dry wood and the counter said it was still wet - no. The green wood was found to be too dry and said to be almost dry enough to be burned. No way. No matter what I did, I couldn't get myself to read more than 25%. I sent a message to the seller asking if I might have a defective unit and I received two almost unreadable gibberish messages, one stating that the item was returned without help, instructions or a possible recalibration of the meter went on a business trip (?) . . So I hadn't trusted either the counter or the seller. Sent it back for a refund which Revane did a great job. Shame; I wanted it to work.
