I bought the 2 outlet smartplug since I see mixed reviews.I tried pretty hard to get these to work on my fish tank and couple of other outlets. When I would turn off the fish tank pump I tripped all four sets of outlets that I bought and they would turn off momentarily and turn right back on like a power loss situation. This was the only reason way I bought these, but it defeated the purpose.I did talk to customer service and I switched from the hbn app as stated in the instructions to smartlife app. However, even with the switch of apps this still did not work. They did offer a replacement, but for me to ship back the old ones cost half the price of buying new ones. My loss is your lesson learned.Pick another brand if you plan on using both outlets on the plug.
