This is a very useful item if you find that your TV buffers or just shuts down when connected to the Revain Fire Stick. I can't talk about improving the internet connectivity because I have fiber, but to keep it from falling out under you, that's great! I still rarely fall out, but I'm comfortable that it's on their side and not mine. Now me? I'm happy with 5 stars, but this is not a complete solution to the problem and I don't want to mislead anyone. Your TV must be close to the modem/router to establish a physical connection. A good product! I bought it on the recommendation of my ISP. Not this one in particular, but this type of widget in general. I'm happy with it!
