I bought the missing link from KMC 6 years ago. It can still be found on the everyday commuter bike and is so tight it requires a plier-like tool to remove. I tried replacing it last July and bought 6 packs of KMC links. All 6 links were so loose that they fell apart with light finger pressure. Tried the more expensive 2 packs thinking they were better quality and very snug like the originals. No, so the 4-year-old broke his limbs. If your chain comes loose and wraps around the spokes, you could injure yourself or worse.
