I don't know who hates the "cone of shame" more. my puppy or me It made everything he did more tense and difficult. These boots are breathable, waterproof and hassle free. The medium size fits well and the gauze is useful too. I could put them on easily, but he couldn't take them off. The velcro is strong and allows me to adjust it to fit and has already helped him break the lick and chew cycle. He can have his normal range of motion and movements that weren't possible in a Kegel. Customer service was also above and beyond the call of duty. They helped me with the size (they are large and he only needed a medium). In short I would recommend them to anyone who has a dog with a medical paw problem. I believe they should be available as an alternative to the Elizabethan cone. Reducing stress in itself makes life easier for that owner and the dog.
