Having built over 200 systems in my life, I know that improper voltage and poor thermal paste can result in poor cooling and even CPU failure. A good setup and you can overclock or just know your system will run quiet and cool for years. I was a bit nervous about the plastic backplate that came with the CPU waterblock. So this plate was used, not a plastic plate, and I am convinced that the holding pressure is not the same for every screw. yes additional cost But peace of mind to improve performance.
