Not really for heavy use but I didn't need it. I love the fact that it's a lightweight aluminum grip tube, which is why I bought it. The head holds a lot of foam and does a great job. It doesn't have a very long range, but my little Subaru and Hyundai don't need long sticks. Simply unbeatable for the price. I bought a very expensive mop head rig of about the same quality for MUCH more money than this one. If you do not wash vans, trucks and flat-sided trailers, please feel free to buy this product. I keep mine on a pole. I haven't tried it as a separate wash mitt and don't need to because I have a lot of these.
