I've been wearing Altras since the early days of Instinct. I love the zero drop design. I've been wearing Torins since 2018 and average 30 miles a week on trails and the beach. The Torin 5 is an incredibly comfortable shoe that fits my foot perfectly. But the tongue is made of a hard material with a sharp (not soft) edge. It digs into the front of my ankle with every step, even as my toes go over my tongue. What a shame that a poor design choice ruins an outstanding shoe. I really hope they fix the language on next gen Thorin. By the way, I usually wear a size 7.5 to 8, and at Altra I wear an 8.5 all the time, so consider ordering half a size up. The wide leg box is perfect for legs like mine.
