We originally bought these legs several years ago "as shown on TV" and of course when ordering over the phone we were "offered", larger than this size etc -- u we have you. . I don't know how long ago that was, but some of the ones we installed back then have started to wear out a bit lately and we had old felt feet on some of the furniture. So I started browsing the deals at my favorite online store. I found a few versions but wanted to see if I can find the ones we bought years ago. Searched for "as seen on TV" and there they were (along with a host of other fun and exciting gadgets). We bought them and still love them. They come in different sizes for different sizing needs, they are still pretty easy to install, they stay in place once installed and still work very well for their intended purpose. They have "tabs" on the top of the plastic cylinder, making them easy to install. Depending on the size of the furniture legs and the size and shape of the legs, there will be a slight stretch and jerk on your furniture. They are suitable for round, rectangular and other custom shapes as long as you use the right size product. We have them on the kitchen table (about 2 inch square legs), dining room chairs (just under an inch, round), heavy chairs with rounded/rectangular legs. They still work. After about 5 years you might want to replace them, whichever is important, but at least for us they don't disappoint. Two things. 1) If you're trying to "put on" a 1 inch foot, don't use a 1.5 inch sock. . You want it to stretch, not flop. 2) We still have some of the larger sizes in the box that we ordered years ago. They are holding up well and are still usable. Many words to say that we got them twice and liked them twice. Oh, and they're gluten free. Yes, I should have said that ---
