I don't understand why these hangers get such rave reviews. I usually buy my plastic hangers from Target, which are $2 for a pack of 18. Unfortunately, my alarmed dog climbed into my closet and stripped off my clothes (breaking the hangers in the process). With these hangers, I was expecting stronger (ie heavier) hangers given the price, but was incredibly disappointed, as were other reviewers. They're thin, cheaply constructed, and will most likely break over time (and certainly won't outlive my 15-pound dog). The basics (which are of great importance from my personal experience). Don't waste money on them.
