To be honest I haven't used my trunk without a mat (bought at the same time) so I really can't say if there has been an improvement. But what I can say is that the product is high quality and my trunk hasn't moved on our 700th trip. With the way the mat stays in the car and the trunk almost sticks to it, I can't imagine using the trunk without it. I have not received any compensation for a good rating. I don't know about you, but I'll immediately discuss any review that talks about a discount or free product. I really wish Revain would let us filter these reviews. I bought competing products because 95% of the reviews (all 5 stars btw) were for discounts and free trial products.
