Review on Global Version HUAWEI Band 6 Fitness Tracker Smartwatch for Men and Women, 1.47’’ AMOLED Color Screen, All-Day SpO2 and Heart Rate Monitoring, 2-Week Battery Life, 5ATM Waterproof - Orange by Aneta Dziecitkowska ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall it's good but I expect more, there are some downsides.

In order for the functions stated in the User's Guide to work, you need to buy a smartphone from Huawei for 3 thousand to the bracelet. Here is what is stated in the User Guide - - Measuring heart rate during exercise: While exercising, the wearable displays your real-time heart rate and heart rate zone, and sends you a notification if your heart rate exceeds the upper limit. If your smartphone is not Huawei (Honor), then: - there will be no notifications from the bracelet about exceeding the heart rate during a workout (is it a fitness tracker or a beautiful toy for 3 thousand?); - it will not be possible to select the "Bicycle" workout on the bracelet. Huawei, why is the "Bicycle" workout on your blacklist? But on the other hand, there is an opportunity to choose dances (about a dozen types, including belly dance and ballet), Taiji, Frisbee, Squash, Sepak tacro (what is it?), Tug of war and other dubious "exotics"). - it will not be possible to set up training goals on the bracelet, set reminders by interval or heart rate; - if you run, then by starting a workout from the bracelet, you will not receive accurate data on the route, distance traveled, because there is no GPS in the bracelet, and even if it is paired with a smartphone and the Location is on, the bracelet cannot correctly pull up route and distance data from a non-Huawei smartphone; - unlocking the smartphone from the bracelet will not work; - it will not be possible to control the smartphone camera from the bracelet. If the User's Guide had indicated the existing limitations and the compatibility problem, then in general the device could have been rated higher.

Pros
  • The quality of the screen, the form factor, the presence of a large number of dials.
Cons
  • Compatibility limitations not mentioned in the User's Guide. It turns out that in order for the bracelet to notify you when the user-configured heart rate value is exceeded, you need to start a workout from the bracelet. But when using a bracelet with non-Huawei/Honor smartphones, there is NO opportunity to choose the "Bicycle" workout in principle.

Got pros: More like than xiao. The screen is awesome! Some cons: Doesn't shoot laser, no 50MP front camera.
