Attic ladder insulation
I do not recommend using this product for cold northern areas. This item was easy to install, but does not insulate very well. Between the very cold attic and warmer air escaping thru the ladder door, it causes a lot of condensation to build on the cover dripping onto the ladder and sides of the opening. I had to remove it and replaced it with a 1 inch thick insulation board box that I made and problem solved. It insulates much better as well.
- It was easy to install. Keeps cold air from leaving the attic and warm air leaving the room.
- May be expensive compared to other insulation options
