I did a lot of research before deciding on this monitor. On paper, this one seemed to tick all the parameters of what I was looking for in terms of functionality while still staying in the 'budget monitor' realm. Brightness and color quality are very good. However, there are some caveats: - Quality seems to be a godsend. I run two monitors but ended up having to order 4 monitors. Of the 4, 1 was dead on arrival and 1 had an odd yellow cast and terrible brightness uniformity. I wonder how long these monitors will last as Acer's warranty and customer support is pretty poor. Brightness distribution could be better. One side is slightly lighter than the other. All 3 monitors showed this. While this is fairly common for monitors in this price range, I've even seen a Dell Ultrasharp have worse uniformity, so I've decided to live with that. But that's still a bummer for a $200 monitor. The correspondence between the screens seems a little off. When two of them are side by side, the contrast/color/brightness between them will be slightly different. All 3 monitors are slightly incompatible. This is difficult or impossible to fix with the monitor settings. They don't differ much and you'll only notice it if you look, but there's definitely a discrepancy between the screens. Those issues aside, this is a decent monitor for the price.
